halal mooncake | best halal mooncake and how to make halal mooncake

Acclimated yet again from Ellena Guan’s mooncake form, I made some rose lychee jelly mooncakes last week and they were a megahit.

I used BOH’s Lychee with Rose teabags from the Seri Songket series. Adding milk to the tea, I allowed , further stressed its scent. I loved this flavour and would surely make it again
Mid-Autumn Festival is coming in two days. A little discouraged by my once sweats in trying to make snow skin mooncake, this time, I had picked up the courage to try making jelly halal mooncake.
My first attempt didn't end well. rather of measuring the agar agar greasepaint using a importing scale, I used tablespoon as called by the fashions. As a result, the jelly paddings ended up a little watery rather of establishment. I did n’t indeed get to the stage of making the mooncake “ skin ” since the paddings would not set.

My alternate attempt was better. I read through this composition on using agar agar. But the despondency I entered from my first time urged me to pour in further than enough agar agar. The jelly halal mooncake turned out stiff.
My third attempt was much better. For this Milo Jelly Mooncake with Cream rubbish stuffing, I appertained to Ellena Guan’s form for Chocolate Jelly Mooncake with Milk and Cream rubbish. I replaced cocoa greasepaint with Milo greasepaint.
rather of the further conventional jelly mooncake plastic mould, I used silicone mould bought from Jadi. Jellies can be unmoulded fluently when using a silicone mould. either, silicone is more resistant to heat and pressure compared to plastic mould( generally made from polyethylene terephthalate) which isn't really heat-safe.
Milo Jelly Mooncake with Cream rubbish stuffing( makes 6 small jelly mooncakes)

2. Add in sugar and agar agar greasepaint. Keep shifting to incorporate greasepaint into liquid.
3. Boil liquid for 2 twinkles while stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat. lade paddings into 6 muffin mugs. Cool paddings at room temperature and also chill for 10- 15 twinkles. Meanwhile, make the “ skin ”.
5. Remove paddings from muffin mugs. Make a many scrapes on top of each jelly using a cutter or a toothpick on the face.
